Mundo Lusófono — Lusophone World is a series of eight typographic posters and postcards, each corresponding to one of the CPLP (Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa) countries.
The Portuguese language is the 5th most spoken language in the world and the 1st most spoken in the entire southern hemisphere. With 270 million speakers, it is the official language of 8 countries, which together occupy 7.25% of the Earth's continental surface, distributed across Europe, America, Africa and Asia.
In Europe (Portugal), South America (Brazil), Africa (Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, São Tomé and
language to communicate ideas, to create art, to think and feel emotions.
Style, composition and colours - all this reflects the nature of the country,
which makes the posters so different from each other, yet belonging to one series.
